I got amazing value for my money at Casa Antiga Do Monte Guest House. The room was cozy, with a beautiful view of the countryside. The staff, especially Carmen and Ana, treated us like family and went above and beyond to make our stay special.

There were a couple of downsides during our stay. we were not aware that our dates coincided with a local festival, resulting in noisy nights that disturbed our sleep.

Loved the "outdoor excitement" of hiking to find the gym. The "beautiful" waterfall didn't drown out the sound of "attractions" nearby. The children's play area was great for hiding from screaming kids.

It's the perfect base for exploring Santiago and the Atlantic Coast. I can't recommend this place enough - it's filled with high-quality touches and has everything you need for a fantastic stay.
